The biggest challenge was the glue-up. each spindle had tight tennons, so I applied a wee bit of Johnsons paste wax on each tennon and gave them a twist in the hole. (Spindles are just floating. Then getting each of the 11 spindles and the two stiles to align with the dowels during assembly. Once all aligned everything fell squarely into place!
