I forgot the correct setup for retaining the pattern wheel, which came loose and the cutter went through the profile, causing the chipout shown here; it doesn't affect functionality, however, and will be used until a new barrel is installed in the remote future, at which time I will probably make a complete new sight. The front mounting screw has been backed out to show the brass bushing.
