Want to turn some rolling pins for Christmas gifts and need materials about 2 1/2" square by at least 20-22" long.
Let me know what cut offs you have left from projects.

I have a bunch of 8/4 walnut. You could rip it diagonally, add some strips of maple and maybe bloodwood to get to 2 1/2.
You can dig through my cutoffs when you come to the chair workshop on Saturday - just another benefit of coming to one of my workshops

I have a piece of cherry 8" wide by 3 7/8" thick and 60" long. One side is solid red wood while the other side shows some sapwood. It was cut in 1999 after hurricane Floyd. It's been stored in my barn. Can't get the pictures to download.
I'm 35 minutes from Raleigh.

I have a piece of 10/4 figured maple, that I bought many years ago from another NCWWr. It's about 6' long and I may have another short piece, but not sure. If you are interested I can send you a picture.
