Worth it? Ridgid planer...

I've been looking to upgrade from my AP10, but I've seen the same model (with newer color scheme) at the recon store for about $160. I'm going to keep looking, but I thought that $200 was a little high, you?

Yep, too high. I have a Delta 22-560 which to me is about the same type as that Ridgid that I'm going to sell for $125.

just my humble, but I'd wait and save my pennies and buy the DeWalt 735 12 1/2 inch planer.

Ive seen some go for @300.00. But who knows, you might be able to snag one even cheaper.

They've gotten rave reviews from WWing mags to indie owners (incl meself).

In my opinion, worth the wait and the dough!

I agree Matt, the 735 is a different planing experience. I fought getting one for years, saying a planer is a planer. Should have quit being so hard headed about it long before.
Oh, the 735 is 13", don't forget that extra 1/2 inch! ;-)
