Someone wanting to get into woodworking cheap might be good with some of this stuff. I look at it as good starter equipment, but much of the delta stuff likely won't have a lot of service parts support based on my past experience. I have the Jet version of the drum sander and it's a good tool, but that one looks like it's not been well cared for.

I have the same bandsaw - a Chinese rig that can do good work if it's in good shape. Had to replace a bearing in mine but otherwise does well. It's not a high end model, for sure but fit my pocketbook. Tool condition is everything - even for upper end gear. I own three different DeWalt RAS's and they are sweet machines!

I have a Montgomery Ward bandsaw from the 50s that looks almost identical. Mine has been a great saw as long as it is tuned up occasionally.
