I would like to thank everyone for their help in making the first Woodworking Showcase a success. The display of artistry and craftsmanship was incredible. The judging teams had some very tough decisions to make. Here are the results for the Best in Division awards:

Best in Youth: Alex Leniak
Best in Novice: Patrick Greene
Best in Intermediate: Stephen Stidd
Best in Open: Patrick Fullwood

Now, you all have 364 days to get ready for the next Showcase!!

For y'all that may not recognize the real names of our members. We had a 50% showing of NCWw'ers top placing in the competition.
Alex Leniak - is out very own youngest member http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/member.php?u=2069

And Stephen Stidd is our very own http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/member.php?u=1032

I got the opportunity to talk with Patrick Fullwood, and his name is just too appropriate. He is an artist in the highest degree...and pretty speedy too. I hope to see him joining the site soon.
All in all there was some amazing work shown, and every one who made the effort to participate should be applauded. I was amazed at the level of craftsmanship shown in all the levels of the competition.
Dave:)
