Felder sent out this video today that I think some of you may be interested in seeing: slow motion action of sawing, shaping, and scoring various woods and panels. It gives a really good picture of what actually happens at the point of impact between the blade or cutter and the wood.

Cool. I thought the spiral head at the end was the best. Almost like a wave going across the face of the board. The circular blade was scarier in slo-mo than full speed.

Very interesting video! Of course that just led me to more videos, particularly of the Hammer band saws:gar-Bi, of which I now have a Hammer 3800 sitting very happily in my shop.
