Who I was aren't who I now be

A month or so ago there was a rash of name changes. Fearing that the lemmings were headed over the cliff, I resisted the urge to follow the crowd, dut to an admonition that has, from time to time, served well.

Having recovered from crawling from Lake Jordan all the way to the boondocks of the TravisPorter Big-Iron workshop, I have considered changing my moniker to something more appropriate. Of recent, I inquired of the Top Poster hereon if he would utilize his magic and change my "screen name" (I do not like that term) to What You See Now.

No, no no! I didn't change it to What You See Now. It's the name you now see. I asked for a special symbol, the "commercial at" symbol (@), and hope that it doesn't conflict with other code and bounce, so to speak. So, next when you meet me face to face, or perhaps with my face so filled with barbecue at the SpringFling@LakeJordan you can't see my face, you will know me as Jim.

Never call me James. That means I'm in trouble. I'm Jim, and I mangle wood at Fern Hollow.

Jim@Fern Hollow, good to see you here as yourself! Now, if I may be so bold, you look nothing like your picture....any chance of an "upgrade" in that area?

BTW, funny how we're in trouble when we're called by our full, formal names. There aren't many things universal, but that's one of them, regardless of where you're from!
