I thought some might enjoy seeing some of the white oak I recently milled. Beautiful figure in just about every single slab.

Lee, the feathering on the crotch slab is beautiful, just beautiful. I know Walnut and Mahogany feature very strong feathering on crotch wood, didn't know that Oak did.

I had some feathering like this in a piece of oak I got. Unfortunately it wasn't terribly usable, but I do still have it cut off if anyone would be interested in it for veneer?

More of the same tree, but the top 11’ of the trunk. 69” at the widest point where the limb starts.
