I need a small log of locust or white oak to make a couple chopping blocks.
12-14 inches across and 3-5 feet long.

Just missed out! Neighbor ended up slabbing most all the 40” dia white oak they felled a couple yrs ago due to a time crunch since they had to have it all gone and move out by Sunday.

40” is way too big. I will be cutting to about 16-18 inches long and adding legs to bring up to waist high for fine ax work on spoons.

Mike, I have 2 white oak logs if you would like to see if you can use them. I was going to cut up for firewood. They are about 15 - 20 " diameter and about 8' long. If you like we can cut the length you want and load it up for you at no cost.

Thanks Les,
If I don't find something closer to home in a few days I will make the trip to Liberty.
