It's basically a Model 10 Rockwell / Delta contractor's saw off steroids. Nine inch blades can be a pain to get, plus they cost more than their 10" counter parts. Choices are limited also. A friend recently up graded his Model 9 to a Model 10. He paid $125 for his Model 10. Last year, I looked at one near me, for $50 and passed even though it was in excellent shape.

I have a 9" saw; an old Craftsman. Bruce is correct about price and availability of blades. My primary blade is a carbide tipped 40T that the eBay seller swears is an Irwin they forgot to stamp (uh huh). For a hobbyist that rarely changes blades and has a really good circy saw for sheet goods, it is okay.
