What's a good price?

Looking to sell a gently used DeWalt 734 12.5" planer.

I am the original owner. It's clean and runs smoothly.

I'm thinning out some stuff and the DeWalt 734 is one of them.

I'm looking to see what others think a respectable price is before I list it in the for sale section.

I'll post pictures and video later, for now, just looking for a general range.

Thanks

Around $200 or so maybe if it's in good shape with good knives. That's what I asked when I sold my similar model, I think the guy talked me down to $175 or so.

Thanks.

Just checked Facebook Marketplace and I'm seeing people posting these things for $375+. I think the highest was $475? Wow! Haha

I know, I know... People can ask whatever price, and I do agree... Some of the prices are insanely high, imo... And whoever pays some of the asking prices are getting taken...

Thanks again.

For a 734? Maybe for a 735, I can't imagine anyone dropping that much on a used 734, but you're right, some people do pay crazy amounts.

I guess they are anticipating a low ball offer and hope to “meet in the middle”.

Posted my Dewalt 734, last night, on Facebook Marketplace:.

I've had 8+ people message me about it.. "I'll take it tomorrow and bring cash." Another: "I'll be there this weekend to take it."
And 1 more.. the same as the others.

I can't believe I've had so many inquiries... This is interesting.

I'll keep everyone informed as to the outcome...
