Walnut. Unfortunately, the DTs are machine-cut. I ain't not got the expertise yet for freehand.:-(

Will post progress. Only working on it part-time; got a $4,000 commission to build a cherry entertainment center. Might's well post that as it goes along, also.

Very nice - like those feet. How are they attached? Looking forward to progress pics. Would love to see that $12K entertainment center, too.... oh wait, that was $4K.... ;-)

You cut me back to 4K:-:)lol:???

Feets are not attached yet, but I think either 1/2" dowels or insert/bolt. gonna use a little curly maple on the drawers, too.

Beautiful piece of furniture. I love anything in walnut and those feet really add to the piece. Let us know how they are attached.

Looking good.:icon_thum Curly maple drawer fronts are going to look really sharp against that walnut.

WOW.......$4K for an entertainment center......cool. Does that include the cost of the big screen TV?

D.L.: Congrats and "Good on Ya" for the big 3 0 !! I hope the next 30 are as rewarding and enjoyable. You are now officially in the top 1% of the finest!! Pretty soon you'll be able to realize the joy in some of the freedoms the rest of the USA citizens take for granted but that you have voluntarily given up to serve your country. (might be 5 or 10 years but it will come). From the low key of the post and with current world situations, I assume you aren't yet on the "retired" list, but good luck in all future endeavors, whether you are tomorrow or not. I will warn you that civilians are a bit strange when you get to living among them full time, but all in all, most are pretty decent people!!:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Hey Chris, that's not nice:eusa_danc DL, this might make you feel younger. I was 32 YEARS old when you enlisted, my father was 68 and if you were born in '58, that's the year my father retired from the Army:lol:
