I recently travelled to New Jersey o visit an old friend and help him clean out his basement from his grandfather's tools. I came back with a pick up truck bed full of old tools that I am going to try and sell for him at the M-WTCA event on September 21st in Raleigh. In the meantime, I have a number of tools with which I am not familiar and am hoping that you all might be able to help me identify. Please see the photos below and offer your opinions. Please reference the item # that you are describing for clarification.

May need another picture of number 3 from the side, along with overall length. From the view you have it looks like an adjustable nail puller?

#1 At fist glance I thought they were toothing plane blades, but looking harder they seem to be combs (are the slits through the material? Is the material steel?) If yes, they might be wool combs... if wood, maybe handmade hair combs?
#7 Drill sharpening attachment - seems to be missing a piece that goes on that "pin" or dowel
#9 is a lead hammer (that has seen better days)
#10 (Mike is right) We used to call them knock-out punches (Amazon.com)

1. could also be a cotton comb.

Mike is correct a knock out cutter or sometimes call a plug punch or knock out punch. Now days all the electricians use a cordless Milwaukee tool that does........

....... lazy buggers.

Not an electrician so I didn't know the correct name, but have used one when I helped wire a new factory for the screen printing company where I was the whole art and photo/darkroom department.

No 1 looks like a toothed plane blade BUT it is not. The slits go all the way through the thickness, and most of the way up the length. Yes, some sort of a comb.
