What do you do with offcuts?

As a scroller, I see many square pieces that will make 3-D items such as Christmas ornaments, crosses, reindeer, etc. There may be some pieces with grain patterns that would make pen blanks for turning, and glue ups for larger things like peppermills, bowls etc., and assuming there is hardwood in the cutoffs, consider cheese boards and cutting boards. When you're making all large items cutoffs can be bothersome, so consider giving them to someone with a wood stove. Those of us that do have a wood stove appreciate dry wood that can get a fire going rapidly on those very cold mornings.
