Western NC workshops?

If there is enough interest we will start planning workshops for the higher parts of the State.

Asheville?

Hickory?

Who can host?

What subjects shall we work on?

I can lead sharpening, traditional dovetail, hand plane refurbishing, hand plane use, saw sharpening, power tool setup and adjustments, etc.

Do the Klingspor shops in those locations have room to host a workshop? I'm guessing that they do, but I've not been to either one personally.

The Hickory store has a room someone told me that the carvers group meet there.

In the Charlotte area, have a rather large shop, love to cook and plenty of parking. Happy to host if needed.

Mark is correct, the Hickory store has room. The Ashville / Fletcher store is pretty tight but Rob's group Western NC Woodworkers meets there. So we need to be careful to work around them (or possibly with them?) on their "standing" Saturday.
