Walnut Woven Cross
I wanna thank my friends at Johnnie Beegle for sending me the template they created
I laser cut the pattern out of 3mm plywood on my toocaa_official 40w Laser Engraver and then I took a piece of scrap walnut to my Rikon table saw and carefully milled some small strips.
After that, I started tracing the template onto the strips and moved over to my Rikon Scroll Saw to do the cuts to achieve the interlocking feature.
After it was cut, I did a dry fit and some sanding with Klingspor's Woodworking Shop sandpaper and assembled it with medium grade CA Glue and Activator.
After it was dry, I gave it several coats of Rust-Oleum clear good for a finish and it really made the walnut grain Pop!
I wanna thank Johnny and Lisa for supplying me with the template, I think it came out great!
I've already scaled up the template to make a larger Cross in the future.
