A couple weeks ago I left some pieces of figured walnut with Scott Smith down in his shop. Yesterday I had a great time visiting his home and business site. If you haven't been to his place you just don't know what you are missing. Nuf said.
He has a machine that can cut figured wood to uniform pieces I just can not achieve on my vertical BS. All of the pieces are thick veneer that you can work with hand tools and just get creative.
