Whatcha need a plan for? Build a box ~60' wide x 30" tall x 20-22" (or match existing counter top depth) deep. Divide it into thirds length wise. The outer thirds will be divided for drawers descending in height from bottom to top. The middle third will have doors for access to the sink plumbing. Decide on your overall style, face framed or frame-less, RP doors or flat, inset or over-lay doors and drawers, etc. Choose your drawer slide action (BB slides, wood runners, or piston fit). Build 6 smaller boxes that fit into the divisions you've created in the big box with allowance for your slide choice. Make doors. Finish and install.
I find it best to find a picture on the web of a furniture piece that the LOML likes. Alter the sizing to fit my needs and follow it's styling direction. It's really not hard to do if you break it down into it's own sub-parts. And without using a plan you get exactly what you want, and if a design modification rears it's ugly head, you can say you planned it that way.
Ok Dave!! :icon_scra Understand that I have never built a drawer or a Vanity for that matter, I can build the Cabinet it's the drawers I might have a problem with, Just need some Ideas.
I have sketchup drawings for a vanity with face frames around 72". You can just adjust the drawer openings or something but it would give you something to play with if you want it.
Drawers are just smaller boxes without tops. Don't be intimidated by them, you are much bigger than they are. Your biggest problem is going to be fitting this piece in place. Are you going between two side walls or just one? Just one makes things a lot easier. Face frames will give you some adjust-ability to allow you to scribe to the most likely non-square walls. You also could easily make this as a 3 piece unit to make it easier to handle. You would definitely need FF or overlay doors/drawers in that case. Come up with an idea, a picture off the web or out of a catalog and we can figure out how to make it...no plans needed.
