Updates on my 3D Printed Dust Boot For My Next Wave CNC
Thanks to members of North Carolina Woodworker , they led me in the right direction to order the brushes to help keep the sawdust scatter down.
I went ahead and spray painted the boot blue with Rust-Oleum spray paint to match the blue on the CNC and cut the brushes to length (got 3 foot for around 10 dollars)
Then, I carefully hot glued them into the track on the boot, after it quickly dried, I drilled for a wire loop to run through the center of the boot so I could hook it on a bolt while in use on the CNC.
Happy with how it was looking, it was time for a test and I took a ToolsToday straight carving bit and quickly knocked out another small CNC Butler Tray.
The results were amazing! Hardly any sawdust escaped the boot!
