It has been 3 wince I plabed some Ash to final thickness. So today, I laid out the boards, looking for the best combination to create three 24"×48" table tops.
In the process, I found 4 boards that create 2 reasonably good cathedrals, as pictured. The 4 boards are 28" wide, but I don't think I can use all 4 boards in the same panel, and end up with an appealing look.
Is a better idea a cathedral in the center of 2 panels, centered between straight-grain boards?
