TWA Group

Occasionally I get a PM about joining the TWA group. I am no longer in any leadership position with the club. I would like to have my name removed as the group approver for these requests. If there is no one else from TWA wanting to handle requests for the group perhaps it is self correcting problem in that it can be deleted.

That setting has no real meaning. You have to go to the UG manager and delete the leader. I just did that.

But the real question is whether we have that and WNCWW group at all. I don't think either are being used.

I get a few new members asking about the WNCWA group, but we don't use it because of the email restrictions -- As President of the Western NC Woodworkers Association, I maintain a more detailed list of members and separate list of area woodworkers that we use to alert people to out meetings and activities. It only serves as an "Interest Group" tag and it is not critical to either WNCWA or to NCWW.net.

As there was never any way to target the group for special "group only" messages, I know I never used it. And being quite blunt - in MY opinion, I am not sure anyone in the TWA club has any interest in it either. :crossedlips:
