Here are some pics of a modified blanket chest/toy box/drawer box I am building. It will have a full size drawer in it so I put MDF in the bottom to add weight. I used pretty much all QS white oak and some QS white oak plywood I had. I haven't added the top, but the thing is racked at the front almost to an eighth of an inch. Any suggestions on how to keep it square so the front panel stays aligned?

Side view - all flat panels, none raised.

Face frame????? Probably not keeping with the design, but it would help to true things up. My .0000002,

yea I'm still not sure what you're planning to do here... how big will that drawer be? When the top and the face are installed it should help a lot, then the drawer should be square, hopefully :)

DL, the top may help square it up. I also thought about maybe cutting a 1 1/2 inch strip and mounting across the inside front at the top. It would mean I would have to make the actual drawer box a little shorter in height, but that isn't too big of a deal.

Monty, the entire thing is basically stile and rail doors. The front is actually another stile and rail door that I cut and permanently mounted the base. The drawer is going to encompass the entire front. Say the thing is about 36 inches wide and 20 inches tall and the drawer will be just that big. I am making the drawer out of 1/2 inch BB plywood including the bottom. The whole point was that SWMBO wanted a toy box but not a top that opens but with a drawer that pulls out. I made the box as heavy as I possibly could (3/4 MDF in bottom, 3/4 flat panels, etc) so that it would be very heavy and not tip over.

Wow - that's certainly an interesting design! Have you thought about making a box liner than tilts out, instead of pulling out like a drawer? Like this:

.... just a thought.

The plans I believe are Woodsmith. If I don't get it squared up, I very well may do the tilt out instead.
