Jimmy,

Is this (official woodworking technical) meeting for food and drink or for drink and drink? Or does it even matter?

Roger,
I think you're right, but I can't remember a whole lot anymore, caused by CRS syndrome:eusa_doh: .

Ray,

I'm not sure, I know I'll imbibe a little, if others are going to get food I'm in, but I don't think it's going to be a sit down dinner. Stop by if you're int the area.

I'll check with the boss tonight, but I would love to join you guys. I have no idea where this flying saucer place is. But, I'll find it.

Friends one of these days it will fall into line that I will be able to come to an outing such as this. Unfortunately that day is the day I report to my second half of Warrant Officer training. Have a cold one for me, while I do many, many, many, many, push-ups.

I might try and stop by - have only been there once and IIRC it was very, very loud, very smelly and basically a tough place to have a conversation. But then, who wants to talk - it gets in the way of the beer! Thanks for the invite ...

I agree Joel, it should be a good time, right now we're probably looking at 10-14 members at the moment. We all get to put faces to names, I'm looking forward to it.

I'll be there as well. Someone was asking about food? I dunno, but I intend to grab a sandwich or something there at the saucer.

A warning: At the Saucer, if you're standing on the side with the outdoor seating, there's a building to your left....Last I heard, it's filled will Lawyers, and they love having cars towed from their spaces - so choose yur parking wisely.

Thanks for the warning Don, I'll be driving there with a member or two, and I don't need that(wifes vehicle). How's the neighborhood for parking, if we're a block or two away?

Jimmy:)

If I recall - there should be available parking just past the Saucer on Martin St- like on the other side of the building from the outdoor seating section. The neighborhood is not too bad for a bunch of guys walking a block or two - there are a couple other bars in the area.
Most parking is posted with rules - except the slimy devils mentioned earlier.
