So i returned my planer today, was getting low on cash, and also realized my passion for woodworking has died very quickly. Atleast I didnt spend a whole lot, the most money was spent on the router/table.

If anyones interested in a craftsman router and table lemme know, Ill cut a good deal, otherwise Ill add it to my yard sale this saturday. I also have a cheap miter saw that Ill be getting rid of.

:( Im going to get back into horticulture again, I never really stopped but I want to build up to some high pressure sodium lights to grow exotic plants indoors.

Talk to you guys soon probably.
-Andy

p.s. Im 25% done with my new album. Heres the latest clip www.dreadcraft.com/4

Oh No Andy!!!

You were getting so skillful with those boxes and all! You know that the gang here will be around to help if you ever get into the mood to build some accessories for your horticulture hobby out of wood. If you can possibly help it, try and hang on to that mitre saw and router. You never know when you may need them to whip something up in the future.

All of the very best and I await the release of that guitar work on an album in the not too distant future!

You take care and check back in with us whenever you get a chance.

Andy, I'm sorry that you're leaving woodworking. If there is any way we could help and haven't let us know. Otherwise, like others have said, follow your passion. We'll be here if you want to check and let us know how you are doing. Take care.

I hope your other endeavors bring the satisfaction you wish for. Woodworking will always be an option and we will always be here ( I hope!) to help you get restarted if you change your mind. Music, horticulture, painting, writing and woodworking are all forms of creativity and art. Just make sure you exercise one of them! Best of luck and happiness.

That's a shame Andy, you were doing so well, but to do it well means to spend a lot of cash and time, and if it isn't right for you then you're doing the right thing; best of luck in the new endeavour

Andy, I certainly wish you the best in whatever endeavors you undertake.

But I don't think you'll forget the woodworking knowledge you have acquired and may find it useful later.

Cheers,
Sapwood

Andy, you'll always have the WW skills you've learned.

And you're always welcome here should you get re-infected with "Woodguy disease"!

Best of luck to you Andy. By the way, are you going to share how you "licked" the dreaded WoodGuy disease? Just in case anyone else wants to quit:eusa_whis :eusa_whis :rolf:
Take care,
Randy

hehe well its just a matter of priority I guess. I have other things I want to do to take up my time. Woodworking was taking up almost all my free time. Horticulture only takes up time when you start out. After that you just sit back. Im growing tomatos, peppers and strawberries outside, and about 300 Wild Dagga plants inside. The flowers off the dagga sell for $100/oz. and its legal :)

heres a close up of one of the buds, it looks like its starting to make resin (also sells for quite a bit) www.dreadcraft.com/resin

and a shot of my oldest plants www.dreadcraft.com/dagga
