I can't really tell where the voids were, it looks great and that grain is stunning.
Next time get a 3612 Makita 3hp. Nuf said.Well this happened : The handle on my Triton broke off while flattening the slab. Quite the moment. Very not funny. I held on it with the other hand and shut it off. But, the damage you can see. Now I have to cut it lower, more work and very frustrating.
I'll reach out to Triton as I think I have maybe 2 full hours of run time. My old Porter cable lasted 30 years, and I only gave it away as it was too much to handle as I got older.
The handle piece that broke should have been made out of FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) imho.
Really messed up my Saturday, lucky I have 3 other routers I can use, but this was the only 3 hp one I have.
