Casey overall you couldn’t have messed this up. The wood speaks for itself. The rest is details. These new products are unpredictable with our limited knowledge of them. So thanks for making the investment in your time as well the cost of the materials. Dang that’s a purtty piece of wood.

Thank you, yes when I saw this grain I bought it. It took longer to clean the trash, dirt & bark out than anything else.
I can't really tell where the voids were, it looks great and that grain is stunning.

Well this happened : The handle on my Triton broke off while flattening the slab. Quite the moment. Very not funny. I held on it with the other hand and shut it off. But, the damage you can see. Now I have to cut it lower, more work and very frustrating.

I'll reach out to Triton as I think I have maybe 2 full hours of run time. My old Porter cable lasted 30 years, and I only gave it away as it was too much to handle as I got older.
The handle piece that broke should have been made out of FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) imho.

Really messed up my Saturday, lucky I have 3 other routers I can use, but this was the only 3 hp one I have.
Next time get a 3612 Makita 3hp. Nuf said.
