Suggestions for spare motor??

I thought I'd put the collective genius to work here and see what you come up with. I have a new 1/2 hp 120V 1725 RPM 1/2" shaft motor that I bought off Ebay a while back that has just been gathering dust. I had initially planned to use it for a fan but Northern tool had a sale on a complete unit for less than half of what I could piece it together so I now have this surplus motor. I had thought about using it to drive a buffing wheel but thought I'd ask for other suggestions to see what y'all come up with. Input appreciated :?:

I've got an old motor set up as a buffing wheel and it works great, also I second Steve's thoughts about a grinder. When I get home tonight I'll take a pic of my buffer set up, it might give you some ideas.
