Stripped Canoe

Very nice. I built a 18 ft strip canoe back in the late 70s and still have it. It was probably easier to get clear western cedar in 20 ft boards back then, haven't looked lately. My first advice is practice on some scrap with the epoxy. I made the mistake of stirring the epoxy too much and got billions of small bubbles that made it cloudy so be careful. It was the first time I had ever used it and had to learn on my own.
On last boat I was much more careful and the few bubbles came out with the torch. I like MAS epoxy. It is very clear, not viscous and doesn't blush like the West System I used in the old days.
