76 years old, grew up in tobacco, retired 30 years fire and rescue, now trying to enjoy life. Absolutely love NE coastal NC, outer banks, Columbia, Currituck, small coastal towns. My greatest interests are local turnings from scrape logs, drift wood, old recycled wood, etc. Could spend days checking out local gift shops, craft stores. I'm convinced they put something in the wood or air...they're absolutely addictive.

You’re right…gotta be something in the air…I was raised near Va. Beach (Chesapeake), and I have family in Currituck, Maple, and the Outer Banks.
