Steve Russell and the Plexitones

No, it's not a fifties rock and roll band. It's one of my favorite turning writers and he's put out his latest tip on a finish called Plexitone. Anyone here ever tried it? I'd like to hear some reviews. It looks like a similar technique to CA.

I've seen pens in IPA finished w/ the plexi-acetone mixture. I've never tried it, but I'm not a big fan of the plastic feeling I think it'd leave.
