I was looking at a Steel City BS Anyone Know anything about them, I have never own Steel City tools. Thanks in advance!

I've got one and I like it just fine. However, I don't use for resawing... just for small work and curvy stuff. You are welcome to stop by and check it out sometime.

Dwight, I don't have any knowledge of the Steel City Band Saw. But I know a number of us on here have the Rikon 14" BS and are very happy with it. If you want to do resawing, it has a 13" capacity, whereas the Steel City doesn't get that capacity until you get to the 20" model. And from the price I just saw at one retailer, the Rikon is in the same range as the Steel City 16".

I think you need to clarify what Steel City saw you were looking at since they sell both Cast Iron style saws and then the more Euro Design Sheet metal formed saws...
