Stanley #2 plane, type 13. I will describe it as fully as I can and provide as many pictures as possible.
There is no foundry casting on the bed. It has about 90%+ japanning. There are no repairs or cracks on the tote and there is still part of the Stanley logo sticker on the tote. The tote sticker was only used by Stanley from about 1920 until the early 1930's. I believe this plane was made in the very late 20's to very early 30's. There is a small piece missing from the bottom of the front knob (see photos) as well as a small amount of pitting on the right front of the casting and bottom(see photos). The blade is the Stanley Sweetheart 1 5/8" wide X 6 1/8" long (almost full length). The plane itself is 7 1/2" long. The lever cap is perfect and operates smoothly. The lateral adjustment lever is marked "Stanley" and also operates smoothly (see photos)

$250 SOLD
