I don't think it is a good idea to put a list in a forum, as it will be buried and eventually lost. Better as a resource that can be referenced at any time.

Pin puts it at the top of a forum, you have to go to that forum to view the post. Once a member views it, it is removed from their 'unread' posts until a new comment is added.

honestly, we could do both, so it is in a post and in the resources. Then an external serach will likely find it.
