It's all real nice work Mike, but all I can say about the small hall table is...WOW! I really like the design, it's very flowing and graceful.:icon_thum

Very nice work. That hall table is wonderful. I'd like to see the drawer pulled out and the details underneath. Not to knock it off, I just like to see it all.

Those look awesome! on the pedestal, the center circle and the band around the top, are they ebony? also, how long did it take to make the aces? keep it up.

My husband was viewing your thread earlier and I thought something was wrong because he kept making gasping noises. No, he was just looking at your work when I asked him if he was OK, he called me over to show me some of your stuff and it is amazing. So talented! I told Dave that it is like you quilt with wood.

Is the Brazillian cherry piece using flooring pieces? I just saw someone else using remnants of that recently, and the thin strip construction made me wonder. It seems like a great use of the material.

Good stuff all around.

The Brazilian cherry I use is from Wall lumber in Mayodan.
I bought enough to make 3 pedestals and 1 hall table.
Very hard to work with but looks good and ages beautifully.
All made from 4/4 stock.
