So, after seeing this http://www.ncwoodworker.net/forums/woodworking/general.woodworking/3018-furniture.design.ideas.html I really liked some of the designs listed specifically this bedroom set.

I made the top from some very figgureed white oak (at least thats what I think it is) The bottom is popular with the feet being oak also. I did a couple of first's for me on this project. The case used MT joinery (which I had never been able to do to my satisfaction) and I used BLO for the top and legs. Overall I am satisfied but, I tend to like the look of laquer. I'm not sure if there is something I could topcoat the BLO with to help this out.
Obviously I have alot more to build so any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I had been looking for ideas for a bedroom set for my daughter, so I decided to build a test piece. I started with a TV stand (I did not have much wood) but intend to build a complete set if it worked well.
