Thank You all for your advice . Iwill try to make a floating raised panel, hopefully the 3/16 will give me enough meat to have it look right. I'm waiting for a couple of router bits from MLCS, maybe by the weekend and I can start machining and assembly. Thanx Again, Mike

Mike, good luck with your raised panel. please don't forget to request a photo album so you can post some photos of not only your finished project, but any in-progress photos as well. You will so find out that everyone here loves to drool over photos of other members projects.

To set up a photo album, just click on the "Other Links" button at the far right of the main tool bar at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu select the last entry "Request Photo Album" and when the new window opens just click on the "submit" button. You'll have folks drooling in no time.
