Shaker Inspired Clock

As my fourth clock, I chose to make a simplified Shaker style wall clock that is the top part of a larger original design. Solid Cherry with a two-tone Pine back, it is super simple. Used a Gold Coin reversed matte from Hobby Lobby to substitute for the traditional metal matte.

I like it! where did you get the personalize clock face? From your printer?
I pulled high resolution clock face art off the internet and add my woodworking identity, name and year date. Prints on heavy stock at a local business supply (Staples, Office Depot) are cheap - about $.40 per. Smaller faces I'll print at home.

The matte was made at Hobby Lobby but is pricey - $22 for a foil faced material. Most expensive part. Glass is cheap at Lowe's and clock parts are about $15-18 online. This clock cost me ~$58 in materials.
