Scrollsaw "art"work?

Made this for LOML B-Day. Kit from Woodcraft, on sale, of course!

Very, very nice :eusa_clap :eusa_clap How does a kit like that work? Is the wood and pattern supplied and you do the cutting? Or just the pattern?

Everything is in the box. All the pieces pre marked, just cut out; [STRIKE]some [/STRIKE] many are tiny!
Paint, brush, instructions even a pre-numbered mounting board! Then glue the whole thing to 1/2" ply or MDF.

I agree with Dave... this is terrific... and I have the same questions. What comes in the 'kit'? Do you do the staining? Do you have to supply the wood? What kind of wood do you use for this kind of artwork? (Makes me wish I had a scrollsaw.)

That is really, really nice! You did a great job with the painting and all of the detail.

Will it be wall hung along with your Canada Goose inertia piece?

LOML peeking over my shoulder says that it is pure art and you are a great artist as well as a fine woodworker!

No, it's got a lot of INERTIA if you throw it hard enough, that would make it a inertia piece...although I don't know why you would want to throw it :icon_scra
