I am looking to sell my delta 14" bandsaw and dewalt scroll saw + stand and dust suction..
Also in this listing is some black walnut boards that have been air dried for years. Also, anyone that buys one or all of these 3 items… gets the janky harbor freight drill press + stand :) for free. I am sort of guessing on the asking price, so, please be gentle if I am over asking…
I am local to the hickory area.

The delta bandsaw is used and American made. I have probably had it 15 years, and it was used when I bought it. Asking $300 or best offer on this. It does have the belt cover that is damaged.

Scrollsaw SOLD: The scroll saw is a dewalt dw788 with stand and a dust collection hose system attached. And… a bunch of blades. I am asking $300 obo for this as well

Walnut SOLD: Lastly is some black walnut boards 3 to 5 feet long and about 6ish inches wide. I honestly have no idea how much to ask for this, so I will simply toss out $50 bucks or so… There are about 15 boards. The boards have been air dried in a shop or garage environment for at least 10 years. They are 4/4.

Here is a link to a google album with pictures. I am also trying to post pictures here as well but it wouldn’t let me …

Frustrating group, so much is too far. I’d love the bandsaw and walnut but 3 hrs each way is a tough drive due to bad back. You won’t have any issues finding buyers more local to you!

For those looking the scroll saw is a Type 1 model so made in Canada and not China.

CURIOUS. i have a 14" Delta BS and the TRUNNION? - semi circular things beneath the table that facilitate setting the table at one angle or another other than 90 to the blade - broke en route home the day I bought it!

Urns out it was made of 'pot metal' and IMHO designed to break away under pressure.

Thought to ask if this pot metal trunnion design was typical of the 14" Delta BS or of newer models; just Chinese versions; etc. etc.

Is there a bulletproof version available - or are they all flimsy?

The BS's that were American made were made with pot metal too. Typically the pot metal trunnions break when lifting/moving it by the table.
I've seen some replacement ones being sold on eBay that are made from steel vs the original pot metal.

I also found SS trunnions on Amazon for +/-$20

Could be that the stock items are 'cast aluminum' not, as I supposed, pot metal. Flimsy, if mine were typical!

AND "Oct 2, 2024Iturra Design does not have a website. To get the 260-page catalog, you call them at 904-642-2802 or send an email to iturradesign@gmail.com. And they will tell you to send a check to their Jacksonville, Florida, address. They told us to send $9. Then in a week or two, the catalog arrived. "
