Scroll box

I made a box to hold a scroll (specility box)8-O
Its ok I guess but I am not real happy with it:eusa_thin
I think I'll have to make a couple more and see if I can do better, or talk to a box master, I have heard there is an expert on making small boxes somewhere around Clayton?
anyway its got a sliding top and lined with felt.

I wish I could do as well. Your fit looks great, miters tight, and lined to boot. A scroll would be proud to hang out in there. What's there not to like???

Earl you need to turn that :-( into a :-D . That looks to be very well crafted to me. The lid is tight, the sides are 90 degrees, the finish looks great. Simple elegance with perfect function!

Earl, the only reason I can conjure up for a reason you don't like it would be that the scroll won't fit inside -- otherwise, it is a beautiful piece of work.
