Folks across the pond have been recommending Rustins clear to do my dashboard, but seems they only sell in the UK. Does anyone know of either a source or a similar product available here?

Rustins website says that it's Danish Teak Oil. There are lots of Danish Teak Oils available in the US, but not Rustins.

Not an oil. two part. suitable for direct sun. Thick build. I was almost thinking bar-top, but it self levels and don;t know if it can be sprayed in 6 or 8 coats.

Ohh this is that kind of thick glossy finish you'd see in an 80s Mercedes.

Yes, or like virtually all British cars. This is a 73 Triumph Stag. I may buff it out with a bit less sheen, but need the thick base that can be sanded flat. Ordered a vacuum pump. Now to get th ebags, lines etc.

Pete, you found it! Thanks.
