The DW and I have friends who became grandparents this year so we wanted to build them a rocking horse for when the grands come to visit. We used some 8/4 white oak scrap my brother had used to floor a flat bed trailer. The handle and foot rest are the turnings Henry did for me. Thanks again Henry! You Da Man! It was a pleasure to meet and spend some shop time with you. Finished it with 3 coats of matte poly. It was a fun project but man the white oak is a dense wood. We'll give it to our friends during the Christmas holidays. Sorry for not having any WIP photos.
