Item H: Band saw, WoodTek 27"

Don't know what is 27" on that saw, but I doubt that has a 27" deep cut capacity. Looks like a more standard 14" BS or maybe even 12"
Priced reasonably though, at $275

I’m in need of a larger band saw to try my hand at re-sawing some timber (mostly oak, poplar and cherry slabs) I had milled from my property. Anyone know anything about this model/brand of saw? Looks pretty old but for that price...

I have that exact bandsaw. It is more or less equivalent to a Grizzly. If you want resawing, be aware it maxes out at 6.5''. Unsure whether a Grizzly riser block would fit it, although I bet it is more than a 50-50 shot.

Personally I have found it difficult to find specs, manuals, parts, etc for it. Tires for the Grizzly 14'' bandsaw fit, FYI.

Sam,
Thanks for that info! That’s enough to make me pass on it. Even if its a good deal, no sense going through the hassle for something that probably won’t meet my needs. Appreciate you sharing your perspective. I’ll patiently wait for something else or save my nickels for a new one.
Cheers!
