Re-veneering table top, anyone willing to take on this project?

A friend of mine has a large conference table that opens up to accept a leaf. The veneer has worn out in some places, and needs to be replaced. I thought about just applying 1/4" plywood over the entire surface, but I'd also have to do the edges and that would impact the mechanics.

Anyone here interested in taking on this job re-veneering this table? The two large pieces are 36"x36"x2", and the leaf is actually two pieces 18"x31"x2". Flexible on the veneer species - cherry, walnut, mahogany, sapele, etc. all on the table (pun intended). The old veneer doesn't need to be removed, but the areas where it has been worn down would probably need some filler to ensure the new veneer is nice and flat.
