and I think it IS MUCH - look at that end grain on a thick-topped workbench you CAN chop, saw and work on - too many people have worked on less for longer - you should be proud of that bench!

If you are anything like a lot of us here, you'll cherish that workbench more than one you just went out and flashed some plastic to get. Something about elbow grease makes a project shine.....
