I have a Shopsmith Model ER that is built like a tank and will keep on going for years to come. I've used it as a lathe. I've used it as a drill press. I've used it as a sander. It can morph into a table saw. There is no play in the drive shaft (that's a good thing). Several additional accessories and operation's manual are included. This would make an excellent addition to your existing shop or be the first tool for the new woodworker at a real bargain.
