We are 25 Days away from Closing the Raffle. That means we are through 58% on the time for our Raffle.

Today, we have only sold 25% of the tickets compared to last year.
If the raffle was to close today, NCWW would have a loss for the year of approximately -$14,000.
Raffle Sales make up 85% of the revenue that NCWW uses to keep the site running, fund scholarship, annual picnic, and participate in outreach events like the Klingspor Woodworking Extravaganza in Oct and AAW in June.

So please support NCWW and make a raffle ticket purchase.

I don’t visit the Facebook page very often, but I was wondering if the raffle has been advertised there?

I doubt it makes much difference since I never win raffles, and logic says every number has equal odds, but heck with logic, decided to spread my tickets out to more randomize my numbers and maybe improve one of my numbers getting picked. So there will be at least a couple more purchases.

The higher the number the more "Curly" the ticket is due to being in the center of the ticket roll. Just saying.

But if the early tickets are pulled from the end of the previous roll, they will be curlier.

Tom I know you were trying to be humorous and so was I. It a terrible thing to have to explain the joke. I have that problem all of the time my wife tells me I’m not funny. It doesn’t stop me from trying though.
With all that said. We need y’all’s help here. We are raising money for our operation budget and our future growth. We are manned strictly by volunteers however we will have to start paying for services to assist in our operations. Maintaining a website and the storage needed to archive every post and record cost money. We also would like to continue building funds for the scholarship funds in hopes that it can become an endowment. So here is the bottom line. We can scrape by or we can flourish as an organization, a community. We do that without any formal dues but by putting on a raffle and an auction to raise funds. You have a group of 7 board members who put together and raise donations for all of this. This not an easy task. There are countless hours of effort to bring this all together to serve all of you. So again what is it in this that you can live without. Are we a community that can pull together and raise the funds needed to flourish and grow? Are we wanting to build a legacy?

I really think the move to $6 tickets has had an effect on ticket sales. I have actually bought more tickets this year.
