It's been what seens like a year since I got the shop in and started working on it. I have finshed the sheetrock, Piainting. Electrical the HVAC is in waiting for completion of the floor. I finished the floor this weekend so HVAC and Cabinets and of course my work area will be installed. The flooring was a task as I put in a Parquet Chestnut floor. I hope to soon start turning out some woodworking! Rest of Pictures are in my album. Terry:eusa_danc

Terry, that looks great! When not woodworking, you could host dances in there! Much more tool-friendly than my concrete garage floor, too, I'll bet.

Terry,

Well... the shop floor looks great. How long before you get to move some equipment in and start making some sawdust?

No not yet, I am going to start assembling my big power tools this week and get them in place so I can start my measurements and layout. Also going to be setting the HVAC and cabinets. Terry

Very cool, however you must be MUCH neater than me. My concrete garage floor is a testament to just about every project I have done:roll:... Oil stains, fiberglass resin, paint, glue, polyurethane, danish oil, brake fluid, etc... the list goes on:eusa_doh:

Matt, look at it the way I do: All that extra "protection" just adds to the life of it without all that expensive floor finishing:lol:

I don't worry about the floor! My finishing will be done in my other building next to it! I may drop tools, boards and whatever, but will have anti-fatigue mats around my tool island and workbench. But I promised myself I was going to enjoy it! HE! HE! Terry;-)
