Progress on my MAME machine

So, I started my MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) quite some time ago. I just finished the marquee which lights up from within, and the 3D Incredibles logo made from multiple pieces of plywood and oak and painted the logo colors. I still have to build the screen bezel.

What do you think?

Backlit header and the logo are nice touches. had. A student build one of these a few years back. Had to take it down this year. Can’t have kids congregating at the arcade these days.

Nice work. I have to ask - What monitor are you using?
I have an old flight cabinet that I converted to MAME.
It still has a working CRT monitor, but will only do 640x480 resolution.

I have been looking at upgrading for some time.

It is a large Dell monitor that i bought off of craigslist a few years ago. i cannot use gun games because it is not a CRT but i never liked those games.

I have a MAME machine that uses a big CRT. Enough voltage to kill you :) Prefer that over LCD because the graphics on the old games are so bad they look better when the pixels bleed into each other. But LCD is soooo much lighter and so much easier to make work.
