I have a Porter Cable jointer. (I bought what I could afford at the time.) It has worked well for some time. I have noticed that when jointing board edges, I have started getting a slight curve in the results. I assume that the two tables are not parallel but cannot find a way to fix this. If there is a way to fix this, please let me know.

If I need to, I will replace the jointer with a better one. If that is the best way to go, what is a good brand/model. I think I want to stick with a 6 inch model but I'll consider recommendations.

Thanks!

I looked through the manual. If it is there it is hard to find. Perhaps in one of the other languages?

Next issue of Wood Magazine will have an article on jointing boards wider than six inches on a six inch jointer. Jointer has to have a rabbeting ledge.
